Can you open the second temperature range for Ex models?
Yes, we can open this XT-model’s feature on some common Ex cameras.
Can you unlock the MSX option for Exx models?
Yes, we can open the MSX option on the 1st generation of Exx cameras.
Are there any differences in hardware «from the box»?
There are no functional differences in hardware between FLIR E4/E5/E6 and E8 & FLIR E30/E40/E50 and E60. All restrictions are imposed by software and can be unlocked.
Is there any risk that the upgrade will be lost?
There is no risk that your thermal camera will be flashed back by itself. It is physically impossible. The upgrade may be lost only if you update camera to a newer firmware via FLIR Tools.
Will hack void the warranty?
The manufacturer doesn’t welcome interference in the internal software of the camera, however, if you need to send camera to service, it is possible to return the original software back as we always make a backup copy of the original files.
Can upgrade be done for FLIR Ex PRO models?
No, there is no solution for upgrade these models.
